Black Mountain is located about 25 minutes from downtown Asheville, it is a small friendly town named after the Black Mountain Range and also called the front Porch of Western North Carolina. There is always something going on in town or around town, such as the gathering of classic car, truck and motorcylces once a month, the annual street festival called the Sourwood Festival which brings thousand of people into Black Mountain to eat, drink, socialize, arts and crafts exhibits and music. Then of course the famous LEAF festival which provides a vast amount of entertainment, food, drink and well known musicians play a variety of music and plenty of other activities to keep you busy, you can camp out and make a whole weekend out of it.
Real estate is quite sought after in Black Mountain. People love the friendly atmosphere of a small town and they also enjoy all the activities the area has to offer.
